Conditions20

Typed facts extracted from the source documents by Scindu's grant-data review. Each value keeps its own conditions. Unknown means unstated, not zero or unlimited.

Applicant restriction
Applicants must be enrolled or have applied for admission for academic year 2025/2026 or later in one of three TU Darmstadt Master programmes: Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies; Information and Communication Engineering; Information Systems Engineering.
Application restriction
Applications may be submitted from the day after publication and are emailed to Prof. Klaus Hofmann at TU Darmstadt by the listed cut-offs. Form A asks for an introduction, academic background/merits/current study, relevant personal/social/economic/professional circumstances and performance; future academic/career plans are requested only if possible. Form B allows multiple grant-type selections. Its common checklist requires Form A; CV with relevant work duration/weekly hours; GPA/academic-merit documentation; social/economic documentation; completed relevant Bachelor’s/Master’s average; and all current scholarship/grant funding. Source examples include official transcripts, degree certificates, GPA/scale certification, awards/honours, recommendations if applicable, and conditional income/family/social-security/welfare/residence/medical/hardship documents. Mobility applications require secured-placement proof OR, if not confirmed, an endorsement signed by both the Head of Studies and Deputy Director of International Relations naming destination and estimated period. Type 2.2 applications require a justification describing course/activity, purpose, organizer and location, with registration or payment confirmation if applicable; Form B asks registered/completed courses, costs and proof of payment/registration. Type 2.3 Form B asks documentation costs and payment proof. Type 2.6 reimbursement claims require publication/poster copy, full publication reference, expense documentation and applicable payment receipt. Form B also requests programme/semester/mobility proof for tuition, destination/duration/purpose plus Erasmus/BIP details for short stays, and mobility accreditation/destination/duration/Erasmus details for long stays. Documentary requirements are source-stated application instructions, with the stated “if applicable” conditions preserved; no live acceptance is asserted. The call lists three cut-offs, each at 23:59 CET as printed (no seasonal-time conversion is applied). It says results will be announced electronically to all candidates by the TU Darmstadt selection committee comprising Prof. Klaus Hofmann, Prof. Franko Küppers, David Riehl, and Viktor Weinelt.
Application restriction
Applicants must disclose scholarships/fellowships already awarded or being applied for at submission and inform the operator about later awards.
Application restriction
Expenses for specialized courses/trainings must be incurred before 30 June 2027.
Application restriction
Documentation expenses must be incurred before 30 June 2027.
Application restriction
The retained SEDIA record lists 2027-02-14 as the next deadline at capture; this does not resolve the text’s conflict between four rounds and three listed dates.
Application restriction
The retained SEDIA record lists opening date 2026-04-30.
Application restriction
Taxi or private transport costs require justification where public transport is available on the same route.
Application restriction
Only semesters that commence before 30 June 2027 are eligible; support may cover up to four consecutive semesters, including credits at TU Darmstadt and the mobility destination.
Eligible geography
Applicants must hold nationality of an EU Member State or a country associated with the Digital Europe Programme; the call enumerates EEA states and specified associated countries including Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Türkiye and Ukraine.
Eligible project scope
Eligible expenses must directly relate to international or domestic mobility activities at GreenChips-EDU partner institutions. The source names the partner universities and industry/SME/research partners, but expressly also allows mobility at industrial partner sites that are not formal project partners when the site aligns with programme objectives and offers meaningful academic or professional engagement. This is not a closed host list and does not make every outside activity eligible. Section 2 says university partners “include” Politecnico di Torino (Italy), TU Graz (Austria), UPC (Spain), Grenoble INP–UGA (France), Universidade de Lisboa (Portugal), and Carinthia University of Applied Sciences (Austria); industry/SME/research partners “include” INESC ID, Joanneum Research, Infineon Technologies Austria, Končar Inem, Silicongate LDA, Aedvices Consulting, RUSZ, and Business Konsens OG. These are source-listed examples, not a closed country/host list; the express industrial-site exception remains conditional on project alignment and meaningful academic/professional engagement.
Ineligible project scope
Grant type 2.4 supports short-term mobility expenses not covered by Erasmus+ and excludes Blended Intensive Programmes. All activities must finish by 30 June 2027; mobility is typically less than two months (guidance, not a hard maximum). Eligible activities are international/domestic events such as summer schools, workshops or conferences; Master’s thesis completion at a domestic/foreign GreenChips network institution; and aligned professional training/internships at companies. The applicant must satisfy all source-listed scope conditions.
Other condition
The call says four application rounds are included but enumerates only three dates: 01 July 2026, 14 February 2027, and 01 June 2027. The official TUDa project page also lists those three dates; this packet does not infer a fourth cutoff. The three listed cut-offs are each stated as 23:59 (CET): 1 July 2026, 14 February 2027, and 1 June 2027. The text does not provide a fourth date; no CEST conversion is inferred.
Other condition
For long-term mobility, all activities must be completed by 30 June 2027. The programme may cover days beyond the maximum duration funded by Erasmus+ (the source gives a six-month stay with only five Erasmus+-funded months as an example); for double-degree students it may support living costs during the first programme year while they remain at TU Darmstadt. Covered costs are transport, accommodation and meals; taxi/private transport requires justification where public transport is available on the same route. The provisions are conditional “may” support, not an extra award or an inferred Erasmus+ duration guarantee.
Other condition
The GreenChips-EDU project page lists the TUDa scholarship and identifies TU Darmstadt as partner in charge; it confirms €40,000 and three published deadlines (01/07/2026, 14/02/2027, 01/06/2027). This conflicts with the portal offer text saying four application rounds but listing only three dated cut-offs; no fourth date is inferred.
Other condition
The assigned TUDa record is a TU Darmstadt scholarship under the GreenChips-EDU project, not the separate TU Graz scholarship record with the same parent project/portal URL. The operator states the call and financial support are not an EU action; TU Darmstadt prepares/selects and awards in its own name and responsibility; EU portal publication is informational.
Other condition
Recipients are asked to provide a final report outlining the experience and main outcomes. A feedback questionnaire and a brief 30–60 second video about the funded activity are stated as expected elements of that report for outreach; the video duration is an expected deliverable specification, not an eligibility threshold.
Other condition
Grant type 2.6 supports Master’s final-project research leading to a scientific publication aligned with GreenChips-EDU topics, preferably during mobility. It reimburses full-open-access Q1/Q2 publication fees up to €1,000, Q3/Q4 up to €500, poster preparation for scientific congresses up to €100, and conference attendance with a stated limit increase to €2,000 for CORE A* congresses. All expenses must be incurred before 30 June 2027. The source does not state the base conference-attendance limit. Form B requires a publication/poster copy, complete publication reference, expense evidence and payment receipt for the applicable claim; these reimbursement records do not impose a paid-expense prerequisite on fixed-advance grant types.
Other condition
Selection uses a 35-point total across six scoring blocks: academic performance (20); five independent, documented additional merits worth +1 each (an additional degree beyond that used for r1; academic recognition/award excluding honours; authored publication or conference/research-journal poster; relevant sustainability/green-electronics training; and relevant projects beyond degree requirements); professional experience (1/2/3/4 points for the printed 100–500/500–900/900–1800/>1800-hour bands, plus 1 for proven relevant sustainability/green-electronics work); female applicants (2); applicants who may prove socioeconomic vulnerability (2); and motivation/alignment (1). The printed hour-band endpoints overlap; no tie-breaking boundary rule or academic-grade formula is stated. The score categories are assessment criteria, not applicant eligibility exclusions.
Other condition
Short-term mobility is typically less than two months; this wording is typical, not a hard numeric duration threshold.

€1,500

Maximum €1,500 as reimbursement. The training must supplement activities initially agreed for the mobility and be offered by an affiliated university/industry.
