Description

The aim of the call is to support the creation, development and practical validation of scalable solutions that address the documented needs of the Czech cybersecurity ecosystem. Supported projects must combine design or development, at least one pilot deployment or practical validation, evaluation of results and preparation for further use. The call is focused on three thematic areas:

The call is focused on three main thematic pillars:

• Scalable solutions for the resilience of small and medium-sized enterprises: new or significantly expanded services and tools to protect small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), self-assessment, prioritisation of measures and sector- specific implementation packages.

• Implementation tools and services for compliance readiness, management and risk management: practical solutions for NIS2, CRA, DORA, supply chain security, cybersecurity management, record-keeping, reporting, secure development, SBOM and vulnerability management.

• Services and technical solutions for incident preparedness, response and recovery: standardised services, sector-specific scenarios, exercise packages and tools for recovery testing, record-keeping, escalation and reporting.

Support will be given primarily to projects that aim to deliver solutions with a measurable impact on a wider target group. Analyses alone, general training or documentation without implementation and validation activities are not a priority. Implementation by individual organisations is eligible primarily as a means of piloting the transferability and wider applicability of the results.

In accordance with the programme’s terms and conditions, the maximum amount of financial support is €100,000 and the minimum amount is €60,000 (in the form of a grant),depending on the current exchange rate of the Czech koruna. Projects will be funded at a rate of 50% of eligible costs, which means that the beneficiary will receive funding amounting to one half of the eligible costs incurred during the implementation of the project and substantiated in accordance with the established rules. The funding awarded to a project may be lower than the amount that was requested in the application. The decision on the final amount of support granted will depend on the quality of the project application, the consistency of the expected results with the proposed budget, and the structure of the individual planned costs.

Beneficiaries will be required to regularly provide evidence of actual expenditure incurred in connection with the implementation of the project. Details regarding the frequency and format of reporting will be specified in the grant agreement. Applicants must ensure that the project proposal meets the conditions designed to prevent the project funding from resulting in unauthorised indirect state aid within the meaning of relevant European legislation, or from leading to double funding.

The following types of organisations are eligible to participate in this call and meet the criteria set out in the EU Digital Europe programme:

• Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

• Non-governmental organisations (NGOs) that demonstrate professional competence and the ability to produce and practically validate an output in line with the objectives of the call.

• Academic and research institutions are eligible only as members of a consortium that includes at least one small or medium-sized enterprise. They may not submit an application on their own.

Consortia may combine the above-mentioned entities. The application must specify the actual roles, responsibilities and budgets of the members; a formal partnership without evidence of added value is not sufficient.
