Conditions
Typed facts extracted from the source documents by Scindu's grant-data review. Each value keeps its own conditions. Unknown means unstated, not zero or unlimited.
- Applicant restriction
- A natural person is ineligible where the grid export contract at the same address is connected with their business activity and the linked OZE installation and funded battery/heat store; the comprehensive contract cannot be for the applicant’s business operated at that address.
- Applicant restriction
- The applicant must have a grid-connected OZE microinstallation, or have acquired a residential building where the microinstallation was already installed and grid-connected before the transfer of ownership, with that installation linked to the relevant PPE and the applicant’s comprehensive contract proving entitlement to the PPE.
- Applicant type
- The applicant must be a natural person who generates electricity for own use and is the named party (not a representative) to the comprehensive electricity contract or energy-sale contract for export of electricity from a grid-connected OZE microinstallation. The funded equipment must serve the applicant’s own-use residential building at the same property as the microinstallation.
- Application restriction
- Applications are filed electronically through GWD. The application requires invoices/receipts plus full-payment evidence, OSD connection confirmations, the correct installation-acceptance protocol or applicant self-installation declaration, product cards/energy label and bank-account proof. An OSD certificate must show the microinstallation, its parameters and PPE; battery details are required when applying for battery support.
- Application restriction
- Exact route 30/NC/OA/2.1.2/2026/PME_cz.2)FM is the residential energy-storage programme part financed by the Modernisation Fund. Applications opened 20 October 2026 at 09:00 and are scheduled through 1 October 2027 at 20:00 or until the PLN 1 billion budget is reached. The official PME page says the PME2 round is ongoing; no authenticated GWD submission was performed.
- Eligible project scope
- A fixed battery storage system of at least 10 kWh must be permanently installed at the address of the existing OZE microinstallation; the OSD must confirm its notification. Programme §7.5(4) sets a minimum 2:1 nominal-capacity-to-peak-power relationship, expressed as at least 2 kWh of battery capacity per 1 kWp of the cooperating OZE installation (not PV only). The source prints “na 1 wat mocy szczytowej instalacji OZE (kWp)”; this packet preserves that exact excerpt and uses its parenthetical kWp unit to express the ratio.
- Eligible project scope
- An eligible heat store is at least 100 dm³ and must store heat in water in a sealed steel or plastic tank. Eligible equipment types include domestic hot-water tanks or buffers with electric heating/heat pumps and certain integrated air-to-water heat-pump water-heater sets. It must increase self-consumption of electricity generated by the OZE microinstallation; stores powered by gas or solid-fuel boilers and open tanks are excluded.
- Eligible project scope
- A hybrid inverter or equivalent device is eligible only when required for correct operation of the electricity-storage project and for cooperation of the battery with the OZE installation. The inverter must be new, purchased and installed from 1 November 2025; the additional incentive applies only to EU-produced devices.
- Other condition
- Eligible costs run from 1 November 2025 through 31 December 2029. Any cost connected with the submitted project incurred before 1 November 2025 disqualifies the related cost from eligibility; the programme additionally defines the investment start date as the earliest of first paid eligible cost, heat-store installation, or OSD battery-connection confirmation.
- Other condition
- Heat stores must be manufactured in the European Union. The additional support for a battery or necessary replacement hybrid inverter/equivalent device is available only for EU-produced equipment; the programme also requires newly installed devices manufactured within 24 months before installation.
- Other condition
- NFOŚiGW may refuse support if the heat-store purchase price is more than 20% above the average price of comparable heat stores available on the market; the applicant must itemize purchase and installation separately.
- Other condition
- An EMS is mandatory for battery support; it may be built into the inverter or supplied by an external system. At minimum it must control battery charging and discharging using time profiles. The applicant identifies the EMS name and type in the application and records its functionality in the acceptance protocol.
- Other condition
- This is a household consumer-device grant for a natural-person prosumer. The reviewed programme and application rules set equipment, project and household eligibility conditions; they do not establish employee headcount, hiring, salary or payroll funding. Staffing remains inapplicable/unknown rather than inferred from contractor installation services.
- Other condition
- The funded project must be completed before the application is submitted: all invoices/receipts must be paid in full; all listed devices permanently connected and commissioned under the required protocol; and, where applicable, an OSD document must confirm the battery connection and state battery power/date, while an OSD certificate must confirm the cooperating OZE microinstallation’s grid-connection date.
- Other condition
- For one OZE microinstallation connected at one household point of connection, the programme permits support for only one electricity store, one qualifying associated hybrid-inverter/equivalent device, and one heat store.
- Project duration, minimum
- 60 months from grant payment
The funded devices must be operated at the declared location; removal, transfer or sale during the durability period can trigger termination and repayment.
Amounts and costs
- Funding per beneficiary, maximum
- PLN 1,000
Maximum heat-store grant; also limited to 30% of its eligible costs.
- Funding per beneficiary, maximum
- PLN 16,000
Battery applicants on net-billing, or applicants who changed from net-metering to net-billing. Subject also to the overall per-PPE maximum and per-kWh/30% caps.
- Funding per beneficiary, maximum
- PLN 8,000
Applicants settled under net-metering; subject also to the overall per-PPE maximum and per-kWh/30% caps.
- Call allocation
- PLN 1,000,000,000
Whole PME 2 FM programme allocation; not an individual household award cap.
- Cost item funding, maximum
- PLN 800
Maximum grant contribution per nominal battery kWh, in addition to 30% eligible-cost intensity and the net-billing/net-metering overall amount ceiling.
- Eligible cost
- VAT is eligible; the application must state gross costs.
- Eligible cost limit
- 30 installation cost as a percent of heat-store purchase price
Heat-store installation cost cap, distinct from the 30% grant intensity.
- Eligible unit cost, maximum
- PLN 3,000
Purchase plus installation ceiling for electricity storage; exceeding it can lead to refusal.
- Funding intensity, maximum
- 30 eligible electricity-storage costs
Grant intensity for one eligible battery; also limited by the per-kWh cap, applicable settlement-system amount ceiling, and combined PPE limit.
- Funding intensity, maximum
- 30 eligible heat-storage costs
Maximum grant intensity for a qualifying heat store; also capped at PLN 1,000 per heat store.
- Ineligible cost
- The same devices/investment cannot be financed or implemented using another public source, including municipal programmes, Mój Prąd, Moja Elektrownia Wiatrowa, Moje Ciepło or Czyste Powietrze; the same scope cannot appear in another PME application.
- Ineligible cost
- Transport, shipping, freight forwarding and customs are not eligible programme costs.
- Project funding, maximum
- PLN 2,000
Additional one-time support for an EU-made qualifying hybrid inverter/equivalent required for the battery, or an EU-made battery. Not more than one additional grant regardless of qualifying investments; when the necessary-inverter path applies, the programme caps the combined battery/inverter grant at 50% of the eligible cost of the device referred to by that clause; the PDF does not clarify the denominator further.
- Project funding, maximum
- PLN 19,000
Combined ceiling across eligible household battery, heat store and qualifying additional support; individual support caps and rates still apply.
