Applications opened 20 October 2026 at 09:00 and are scheduled through 1 October 2027 at 20:00 or until the PLN 1 billion budget is reached. The official PME page says the PME2 round is ongoing; no authenticated GWD submission was performed.

A fixed battery storage system of at least 10 kWh must be permanently installed at the address of the existing OZE microinstallation; the OSD must confirm its notification. Programme §7.5(4) sets a minimum 2:1 nominal-capacity-to-peak-power relationship, expressed as at least 2 kWh of battery capacity per 1 kWp of the cooperating OZE installation (not PV only). The source prints “na 1 wat mocy szczytowej instalacji OZE (kWp)”; this packet preserves that exact excerpt and uses its parenthetical kWp unit to express the ratio.

An eligible heat store is at least 100 dm³ and must store heat in water in a sealed steel or plastic tank. Eligible equipment types include domestic hot-water tanks or buffers with electric heating/heat pumps and certain integrated air-to-water heat-pump water-heater sets. It must increase self-consumption of electricity generated by the OZE microinstallation; stores powered by gas or solid-fuel boilers and open tanks are excluded.

A hybrid inverter or equivalent device is eligible only when required for correct operation of the electricity-storage project and for cooperation of the battery with the OZE installation. The inverter must be new, purchased and installed from 1 November 2025; the additional incentive applies only to EU-produced devices.

Eligible costs run from 1 November 2025 through 31 December 2029. Any cost connected with the submitted project incurred before 1 November 2025 disqualifies the related cost from eligibility; the programme additionally defines the investment start date as the earliest of first paid eligible cost, heat-store installation, or OSD battery-connection confirmation.

Heat stores must be manufactured in the European Union. The additional support for a battery or necessary replacement hybrid inverter/equivalent device is available only for EU-produced equipment; the programme also requires newly installed devices manufactured within 24 months before installation.

The applicant identifies the EMS name and type in the application and records its functionality in the acceptance protocol.
